Has anyone done this kind of operation with surfaces, not solids and not meshes, and get the Gripper to help with scaling and such?

Hi. Thanks for replying. I'm not sure. I ALWAYS forget to think about the woodworking tools since when drawing ship parts, I am thinking "metal". I'll have to visit those tools. I also tend to forget to use the time-saving tools that move a face by a distance or to an object. Beats drawing in auxiliary geometry, at times (especially since I don't create draw planes, and instead draw extra geometry a assists, and perhaps due to apprehension/unfounded anxiety around drawing to planes). As for the app in the vid, it reminds me of Blender and maybe Rhino in functionality. Again, thanks for the suggestion/pointer.
