Currently, if I have a DXF or DWG file on say my desktop and I double click it; it will not open with ViaCAD. I have to open ViaCAD then open the file. Is it possible to set it where when I double click on the file with you start ViaCAD and open the file? BTW, I am using a mac.

- Right click, then get info (or cmnd+i), - click "open with" popup menu, if viacad is not listed click "other" option, - on new window on activate pop up select all applications option - navigate to select via-cad, click "add" - before close info window, click on "change all" button to make viacad default app to open this kind of files Hope this Help Luis G.

When I do this it does open ViaCAD, but with a blank sheet, not the dxf.

Your right, confirmed here, should be a bug, in the past this used works fine, meanwhile drag and drop your file in to that blank sheet will import the dxf. (this is my normal way to do it, thats the reason I didn't notice that bug.)
