ViaCad Patch - when will it happen? (#752)

I bought ViaCad a while back and was impressed by it. It doesn't do everything I hoped for, but it still has a lot of performance for the money. However, there are some very serious bugs (the ones that affect me most are model to sheet scale problems). These were recognized by Punch! software development here on the forum and tantalizing remarks were made indicating they had been fixed and that the corrections would be made available in the next release. Well, where's the release? ViaCad Pro and Shark are being introduced as new products before we get bug fixes for existing software, and that simply isn't right. It would be nice to know when (or if) these corrections can be expected. JoeM

Hi Joe,
Shark FX, Shark, ViaCAD Pro, ViaCAD 2D/3D, and ViaCAD 2D are all built from the same code stream. Once Shark FX is stable (which contains all the functionality) we will release updates for the derived products.
You may want to confirm your bugs are fixed in Shark FX by downloading the beta at:
www.csi-concepts.com/sharkbeta.htm If they are still outstanding, post something in the beta such that I can give you an update on a particular issue.
