I designed these boards for Joseph Joseph in the UK. These renderings are the level I would like to be able to knock out with Shark.

The boards have won awards in the UK and Australia and are already huge sellers world wide only 3 months after launch.

Well that's the problem! I don't know and can't find out. The CAD model was done in CU and Shark and exported as a STEP file.

Ha! Yes there is a slight Apple'ness about it I know. Just the way it turned out.

The "soup" logo is meant to signify cooked food. A steaming bowl of cooked food. We wanted this to work right round the world so decided a steaming bowl was pretty universal.

My wife jokes that it is an upside down Jelly Fish!

I am currently "playing" with the renderer within Shark, there are some limitations (but I think Tim will be updating when time available).

Would you mind posting the model of the image shown? I would like to see what Render can be made within Shark. I could build a similar model (if allowed?) but would prefer a direct ref to image/model (and permission).

Regards
- Steve

Hi Steve

Happy to e-mail you the model. I do know that these images use HDI to do the lighting.

I have discovered that the boards were rendered in 3D Studio Max with the V-Ray plug-in on a PC.

Before when I was having problems, i checked out the forum via ie, and i think ie logged in ok, but then later MFF logged in, too, though occasionally having login issues. But, on a daily basis, I'm using Firefox:

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1

and with NoScript running, and with AVG firewall settings in place. I a few weeks ago was experiencing login issues, but not to day nor yesterday, and i don't think during last Monday thru Wednesday, either.

(I just started using NoScript yesterday, due to hearing about a new Flash exploit in which the clipboard cache is hijacked, the machine locked, and sensitive contents sold off or misused...

http://blogs.zdnet.com/security/?p=1733

So, unless you have total confidence in your system security, all might wan to be mindful of what is collected by Ctrl+C, such as passwords, intranet URLs, external sites... )

But, back to the subject, could it be your home or corporate firewall settings?
