Some fonts when extruded, lose some of the alpha or numeric characters.
See example file, using the Vani font.

Other fonts have a similar problem, but good 'ol Times New Roman seems to be OK.

Does this mean that some fonts are corrupted, or is the problem within ViaCadPro V7?:confused:

Yes some letters are corrupted when converted to splines.
There are tiny gaps and/or overlaps.
This problem was already here 10 years ago and I think I tried everything with very limited success.
Converting text in illustrator and importing, changing spline types for each letter sometimes works...
I most of the time end up with redrawing some of the letters on top, with clean splines.
I know it's possible for a simple logo word but a pain for a long text.

I think the problem (as JL says) is with the fonts.

However, it would be nice if Tim's software just dealt with it !
