When the viewpoint's changed for 3D programs, whether it's with hot keys, view menu or right-click menu, it makes no sense that the new view can have nothing IN view, ie that the zoom factor combined with the center of view has all objects out-of-screen. Viewpoint change (to standard menu views) should zoom all with the one action, because most times, zooming out is the next thing users have to do to orient themselves, and then find the work area.
