I have noticed when doing a 3D model sometimes the display will go really slow and unusable as if the computer cannot redraw the screen fast enough. If I switch back to a saved version of the model of only a few clicks earlier the screen display returns to normal. It's as if I have inadvertently selected something by mistake. I am using coarse rendering as i know that slows things down.
I have something on the screen now that is running slow and don't want to go back to saved version and loose some work if there is another way. Any ideas?

Are you using the Gripper? if so with off Face Snapping. This seem to slow down redrawing a lot when drawings start getting complicated.

No, I do not have the gripper on but thinking about it I think the problem may have happened after I had just used it to turn a solid 90 deg.
Here is the file https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/23i8xr3isvxvl6d/Aermotor%20Assembly%2020.vc3?dl=1&token_hash=AAFK1XpsWQbWw27TTS62Hfm6PiGTuB9C8AahILkvrhy8eg if it helps.
If I export and then import it back as a dxf file the jerky display goes and it's back to normal but the model is covered in mesh. Can this be removed?

Update.
I had an idea.
I opened the feature tree in concept explorer and the last operation was a hole feature. I removed the feature and remade the hole and now all is working again.
Hope this helps anyone with a similar problem in the future.
