Is there a way to "copy" the rendering settings from one object to another? Like an eyedropper type tool in other programs that "picks" and drops?

JOL: I think you hit the nail on the head. That's what I was looking for.. I have "deep select" as the "D" key and the measuring as "M" so I never look in that box. Gonna go try this out.

Tim .. with most tools, you have migrated the tool "options" from the CTRL/option key to a button that says "options". Why not with this tool too ? (just for the sake of consistency)
