you cant extrude 'joined' surfaces .. they behave as 2 separates (#2283)

join 2 surfaces they then behave like one surface .. sometimes eg : you cant extrude the joined surface .. they behave as 2 seperates why ?

You dont need a sample file .. it's impossible not to repeat
However .. if it makes you happy
note - the extrude tool selects the two joined surfaces as one - but extrudes only one (depending upon where you click)

Hi jol, 2 joined surfaces extruded to solid? It is OK with (PC)pro 831. edit I cannot load the file you have posted. - Steve
