does anybody know if and how it's possible to polar-duplicate holes on ring? Currently I'm creating cylinders, polar-duplicate them and [Solid Subtract] them from the ring, which is a pretty boring task when 36 holes need to be applied. I couldn't find anything in the manual. Thanks, Peter

thanks for the answer, jol. I'm using ViaCad (sorry that I forgot to mention) and I can't find the solid > pattern tool. Is this function maybe just available in concepts ul?

The solid pattern tool is only available in Concepts unlimited. In ViaCAD, you would need to do exactly what you are doing, Subtracting solid cylinders. However, you do not need to do this all seperately. once you have the cylinders in place you can use the subtract solid tool, by selecting the ring and then use the window select around the whole part (including the ring). The software will only select the cylinders with the window select, even though the ring is included in the selection.
