I'm dimensioning PC board hole and housing hole patterns and I could use some added ordinate dimensioning functionality:

1) alignment of dimension text works great, but how about a dimension text distribution function to create equal spacing between selected dimension text using the first and last ordinates as seeds. This would improve readability.

2) ordinate dimensioning again works great up until I miss dimensioning a feature, then I have to create a new reference zero ordinate. Would it be possible to select an existing zero ordinate to reference for adding an ordinate?

3) adding text in the dimension object info box uses the existing end reference for the leader, so that the center justified text ends up overlapping the leader. It would be nice if the text would auto justify opposite the leader.

thanks,

tom

You can use the Align:Tops command to align the ordinate dimension text.

Tim,

Using select all, I converted all of my existing dimensions to ISO which resolved most of my issues.

As for the duplicate origins, I found that they are aligned so that only a single one is visible anyway.

Works for me.
