Why does copy/paste create a history free/uneditible acis solid rather than just an exact copy complete with past edits of what has just been copied? Tom

I always wondering the same thing, of course you have the "duplicate part with history" on the right click menu, but, no way to translate history between files, or a simple copy paste should be a default, since that you always have the ability to remove history for the part your want. Luis G.

Luis, "duplicate part with history" doesn't do what it says either. It's got to be a bug I reckon?
