Heading to the Spatial Insider summit on Monday. Agenda below:

http://www.spatial.com/downloads/3dis_agenda_11.pdf

One of things that is being rumored is that Spatial will announce a Parasolids translator without the need for the Parasolids kernel. If that is the case, Shark FX will see a native Solidworks and NG translator. My suspicion is this item is being driven by SolidWorks future development efforts.

Yes, I will be bringing that one up again.

I'm urging them to support Mac as well as PC.

I hope Spatial resolves kernel matters that stymie my creation of compound curvature solids. In some cases, I can thicken a curved hull plate to 4 mm, but not 10 mm. Even if I break it into smaller meshes to isolate or reduce reversed curvature, it still balks. And, inconsistently. Some surfaces with worse curvature thicken just fine, while others mysteriously fail. Forces me to dump the drawing and go back to my source and re-edit it a great loss of time.

Just returned from the Spatial Insider conference. Great event where we get to meet one one one with the Spatial developers and management.

I've hopefully made some progress with pleas for getting a 64 bit version for Mac OS and thread safe APIs for Mac.
