I am trying to open a drawing created with ViaCAD 6. When I open this file with ViaCAD 8 there is a lot of trash added to the drawing.

The drawing looks perfect when opened with ViaCAD 6.

I still get the same "trash", LOTS of fat lines, that came out of nowhere.

Is there some 3rd party software that can convert ViaCAD VC2 to VC3 files?

Here is the fix from Todd at Encore:

" If you are refering to the large lines cluttering the drawing, go into preferences, and under display make sure pen weights is listed as display as printed. This will clean up the large lines all over the place. "
