hello,
when i want to adjust my grid setting, i find 2 places:

1) in application -> preferences -> grid
2) in workplane -> grid settings

what are the differences?

viacad pro 10 powerpackpro, viacad pro 9 german, mac

This business of having various settings as you pointed out for grid settings has messed me up for a long time. other settings with multiple locations are scale settings and wall specs.
