Being a long time user of ViaCAD 3D Pro I was surprised to see Autodesk now offering their 3D-CAD/CAM software tool suite called Fusion 360 free of charge for students, hobbyist, and start-ups with the ability to transition to a reasonable annual/monthly subscription fee if your start-up starts to produce commercial products using the tool. What is nice is that the tool supports direct modeling, assemblies, constraints, animation, and includes CAM features like 2-2.5D tool-path generation with the inclusion of 3D machining coming by the end of May.

Just wondering if Punch-CAD has considered anything like Autodesk is doing.

Thanks,
brad
