Since upgrading ViaCad 2D/3D to v9 (on Mac), I am running into one major issue: my solids are outlined. It's not always happening, but very random. Even the latest pre-release (1154) I have received from the help desk doesn't fix it:

When opening the file in v8, it all is fine, but opening it in v9, I see outlines. When I then select the part, choose Features in the Concept Explorer and delete the "Union", it will show correctly. When I then choose Undo, it will be unified again, but this time it will show correctly. This is an issue I did not experience in v8.

I really feel like a beta tester using v9, as this is one of more issues. (Major other one is the mouse will click by itself and select and move a solid after changing a size by numerical input in OS X 10.3) The only reason I'm using it, is because you can actually quit the application without force quit, which you can't in v8.

Check out the screenshots:

Try changing the resolution. Could be a graphics glitch coming from V9. Maybe lower the resolution and then go back to high for instance.

It's not a graphic glitch. I've reported this to the support desk and they can replicate this. If it was a graphic glitch, you could actually work with the file. But it just doesn't recognise the solids anymore.

Their development is looking into this. I find it curious that I seem to be the only one experiencing this. Makes me wonder if I do something wrong.

If you restitch does it come back?
