The new Apple OS seems to have caused a little disturbance (not much though)
Probably Tim has spotted about a hundred of them, but for me there are only three critical ones

1. The Symbols and Groups no longer respond to snapping, and so can't be moved with the Selection tool (the Gripper works fine, but no snapping there either). So they can't be placed precisely.

2. The feet, inches, fraction notation (architectural notation) got a little buggered up, so that you can no longer type 11' 3 7/16" and have the system recognize it. You can get there (workaround) using notation like this (which Todd helped me with): 11"+3 7/16", so it's understood as addition.

3. Regular text, when it appears in the [Object Properties / Data] field as separate lines of text, *will* appear as separate lines of text in Top view. But if the view is orbited out of Top, the text defaults to a single line of text. This defeats how cool it is to be able to put in notes that rotate around with the model.

Box text is now kind of hard to use. That seems all right for the time being, as plain text is by far the most useful, at least to me. Though I have to say, for long notes, box text is unbeatable. It always seemed a little tricky to adjust the box dimensions, but now I can't really use it. Also, when box text is orbited out of Top view, all you see is the bounding box.

I'd be good to go if just the enumerated three items were all chugging along as usual.

Thanks for all the great stuff, truly.

There is a problem with OS X 11 not handling some fonts correctly. You may find that removing any OpenType/Microsoft fonts from your system may help .

Which build are you using? This is something that might have been fixed independent of 10.11.
