Locating Geometry on a Surface (Work Plane)

Hi all, I recently purchased ViaCAD 2D3D V9 after using FreeCAD for the past few months. In FreeCAD, I could create new sketches on any surface and could locate geometry from a point on that surface. Is there a way that I can do that in ViaCAD? I understand how to set up a work plane on a surface, but when I add a circle and want to precisely locate it from one point on that surface, it locates and moves the circle according to the origin of the drawing. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Regards, Kyle

Hi Kyle
If you go into preferences right click on the top of main tool palette or Go to menu file --> preferences.
In the user interface tab is the option to use work plane coords in data entry
There is also the precision point tool that is in the top center just beside the xyz coordinate numbers.
Regards
Jason
