Draws first in 2D and change then to 3D via "Extrude solid".
I have a circle and a triangle. The tip of the triangle must be tangent to the circle in 2D. Afterwards I apply Extrude Solid on the circle to 10mm and 3mm on the triangle. The idea is that they now have to "touch" each other so the 3D printed contiguous.

The problem is that they do not printed contiguous.

How do I know when they touch each other in 2D?

Hi,
In order to understand your intention, is it right to assume that you want the 2 extruded objects to be printed with a 3D-printer ?
If that is the case, you have to know that the tangent line between the 2 objects has zero thickness, it is just pure geometry and cannot be printed.
As a consequence you have to move the triangular body a bit into the circular one...

Thanks, that's just what is my case. My post is just to understand, but how long is minimum overlap for it will print in one? Is there a function or other in VCP there can find such error before wasting time and money on a test print?

The Slices tool in PowerPack will animate slices through a part for 3D Printing. The Slices are 2D section cuts through the part.

That will depend on the resolution of the printer you intend to use. You will be able to make a watertight mesh with a very small overlap, but if the minimum wall of your printer is 1 mm it may not be able to print the joint between the two bodies, or if it does print the object will break at that point.
