New user, starting from scratch. I'm teaching myself by copying examples from a few
technical and mechanical drawing books. Most of it makes sense, but my vocabulary has
a long way to go. You can't research something if you can't describe it correctly.

When ever I have a circular object and put it next to or into another object,
the junction of the two shows up in 3d isometric and the 2d views. Run the model
through 3d to 2d drawing and a curve disappears. I've played around with surface/surface intersect
and curve/surface intersect with no success. Also tried pushing one object into the other, nothing.
Notice the red oval below.

I've seen this problem in a few models. Any guidance would be appreciated...

thanks,

Dennis

Hi,
Sometimes it happens when one solid penetrates the other. Try to combine these elements into one solid - should help, or make sure the surfaces of both solids not penetrate each other.
