This is getting *very* old now.
I keep losing the activation on SharkFX 7.
I'm now 'out of activations for my serial number'

I previously had thought and chalked it up to a app or system crash. But ran it yesterday and closed the app properly. I have not rebooted and the activation is lost (so its not a crash issue). I have rebooted since and problem remains.

When trying to get a new activation it tells me I'm out of activations, and to end an email to [email protected] which bounced with a 550 error (not a valid user)
So I'm SOL at this point.

Is there ANY chance I can get a serial that has no limits on activations? Since I know the actual problem will never be fixed.

Hi Anode

This happens with older versions of FX running on newer Mac OS versions. Apple changed the way the MAC address updates which the DRM was tied to in earlier versions. When the MAC address changes, FX thinks it is on a different machine.

There is a telephone number also on the top of the forum as well. If none of that works send me your email and I'll send directly to tech support.

Some options they can provide:
1. Activate your serial number for additional registrations
(or give you a new number if they don't have access to yours)
2. One/two year Trial serial number (does not use the DRM MAC address)

I seem to recall that Apple changed some permissions and folder locations since SFX7 for the registration files, but tech support should know more.
