Possible Associative Cut and Paste?

Sorry for all the questions but I rarely have time to work directly in office and get online. As I am building drawings, I need to be able to cut one assembly with all the part names for the assembly parts from one file to another. I noticed if I use ctrl c- That creates a disassociated copy into the clipboard. Which gives me all the parts- but none of the names. As far as I can tell All I can do would be to build each frame individually in it's own file or as a symbol. Then when I build the final drawings import the files? That seems odd- as I am sure most people would cut and paste objects from one drawing to another and not desire to lose the names? Surely I am missing something. What is the normal workflow for drawings with lots of named components? JB

I added this today in the 1305 build. Copy & Paste now preserves user defined names.

Hopefully adding in copying user defined names with the copy tools in 1305 will help (move, scale, mirror, rotate, copy/paste). Something I added in PowerPack is a Select Same tool for quickly naming same parts.

Select Same Tip: If you do a lot of Copy/Pasting as I do, you can assign these commands to the right button with the new Customize Right button option in V10.

Well I am impressed with your swift actions.
Any expectation on the v10 commercial release?
And how do I doownload the latest builds?
