Upgraded from version 9 to version 10 Via Cad Pro 10 Build 1308 on a Mac with 8 gb of memory running MacOS Sierra. Can not resize windows for a full screen. The prompt window is locked about 3inches from the top of the screen splitting the drawing area.

Are you using multiple monitors? Could you attach your VCPPrefs.ini file? This contains information about your display monitor and drawing window.

/Users/<account>/Library/Application Support/com.encore.viacadprov10esd/VCPPrefs.ini

hmmmm... i'm not finding anything in that file (or any of the other config files in that directory) to disable or resize the Prompt Window. is there truly no way to dismiss the Prompt Window? it doesn't seem possible, but i've looked around for a while and finding no info at all.

I am running multiple monitors on my MAC and the prompt window is fixed to my main monitor. How can I move it?
