In VC version 10 is new a variety of inch or feet when I export a STL
That makes trouble in my slicer (Simplify), because all values have a scale of 2,540 % ;-(
In VC version 9 there is no variety and all is well ;-)
Properties are millimeters for the units.
regards
Horst

An other point:
In properties is UNchecked "Enable Tool Tips",
nevertheless the ToolTips are coming up when starting the program.

When importing a STL-file and reparing with the PowerPack, the following re-export offers only mm and cm as scale-dimension.
Thats ergo the real contrast to the origin export out of ViaCAD 10.
Greetings
Horst

>> offers only mm and cm as scale-dimension. Hi Horst Thanks for the heads up. The menu is not shown to its full length on PC requiring using the keyboard to change settings. I just updated this for the next build of 1325. Tim

That's why "!!! Thanks!
I had not the idea to scroll up and down ;-(
And the other problem with the position of 2-color-objects (
http://forum.punchcad.co...sts&t=8327#post31720 )
seams also solved!
I tried it out. I had created the objects myself with ViaCAD 10 and couldn't export with the mm-scale, therefore the scale was inch. I don't know if there is a relation but the import of this objects had the problem with the position.
Now I have imported these STL-inch-objects once more to ViaCAD 10 and re-exported them in mm-scale. The import to simplify is ok, all objects are on their right places. That must have a reason - and I had done no changes to the settings of ViaCAD and Simplify.
