I learned AutoCAD about 1992 or so from a book. Over the years I have gotten used to the Ortho command to draw straight lines when needed and the Snap to a distance as 1 mm.
So nothing like either one in ViaCAD? I know a workaround is Snap to Grid.

I have been using Fusion 360 for my 3D models headed for the MakerGear M2 3D printer. NO written Documentation unlike ViaCAD😊

Hello

You can lock a line to an axis by holding down x y or z keys while tool is active.

Also is the precision point tool. Located in the top center.

This interface is much easier to use than autocad. It is different but for the better.

When you draw lines you have guides so you can tell if you are aligned to an axis no need to toggle Ortho on. With specific lengths draw the line and tab and enter a length is very easy to accomplish.

There are some videos that help describe the interface you might want to watch look in the menu to find them.
