does SharkCAD Pro have the functionality to create an "assembly balloon" drawing and bill of material (BOM) ?? a solid model has been created and there's nothing to parsing each of the tubes to a separate layer. see attached illustration
SharkCAD Pro's "User Guide" currently is shown in Italian. how do I change it to English(gringo)??

Hello Art In the menu Windows is the attribute and BOM. This will allow you to add a BOM table and also add automatic balloons with numbers. There is no automated tool so you would need to create a view and then apply the BOM and Attributes tool to build your drawing you need. One way to do this and there are many ways depending on the outcome you are looking for. create New layer Create a new single draw view (look at drop down in the top and use draw view and not layer view copy all the geometry paste it in the draw view - use a solid option flat phong etc. set the view how you want - isometric, rotated etc.keep as a solid and scale 1:1 flatten draw view - now you are left with a copy of the geometry in the view orientation you want then select all the objects in the draw view and use the attributes and BOM tool , hit apply to selected pick bom table from pre-defined drop down or you can add add your own to be available in the drop down click add balloons, might need to move each around a little or adjust position and might want to rename the parts this is not easy and one of the downfalls of making a copy of the geometry there is a update bom so that for example name changes will update you can then drag a new title block in from the symbols to complete the drawing Regards Jason

Jason-
thanks, someplace to start after the user manual challenge is solved. how do I gain access to an English (gringo) version?? I've never used the BOM functionality and as a minimum will need to find it..... does the BOM functionality require each of the objects to be on their own sub-layer or will it also work from with an "assembly" layer??

The Latest Build of Shark Cad Pro 10 is 1354 and have a english Documentation. Save it at another Place from the Path: "C:\Program Files\Punch! Software\SharkCAD Pro 10\Help\sfx User Guide.pdf" You can Download it if you browse the Download Path to Demo/sharkfx10/SharkCADPro10_1354_WIP.exe (SharkCADPro10_1354_WIP.dmg for Mac)
The Demo Download Archive are open for Browsing and the Demo Versions are no Demo, it are Full Beta Versions or Full Versions.
The BOM seems to be very much in development. I was using this, and it is not able to see the right lenght of a part. Many Handwork is needed.
