UG I don't think obj files contain units in the file definition at all, so drag an drop would not know what to size them as? Other than prompt the user. Regards Jason

>>I don't think obj files contain units in the file definition at all Yup. OBJ, STL, 3DS, some old DWG/DXF formats do not have units and will drag/drop using the current file unit settings. File : Import has a user interface that lets you specify the unit of the incoming file. Tim
