Afternoon all,

So I have scanned the front of my car, why? because I was bored. I've got a ply file and fetched it into Shark, seems to load ok at a few hundred mb?!?!? anyway,

I've got some cleaning up to do, I've put in a plane, clipped it and moved it into the scan, then used delete facets lasso select and deleted some of the noise, unclipped the plane, and it's deleted the bit I selected but also from the point where the front of the car is? Is this right? I was thinking the clip plane would allow me to see inside as a section view, and delete as I needed, and when I unclip the plane, the outer shell, and indeed anything I haven't selected is still there?

So from the attached view, I've moved the plane into the car, deleted a load of facets around the floor, and lower engine. Unclipped the plane/moved in back and it's deleted the front of the car.
