Hi,

I'm quite happy with all the features ViaCAD has to offer, but one of the things that I really miss is the possibility to make dependent copies of a model. So, if you change one of these linked copies, all other models will change, too. Great for repeating parts like screws.
It's actually similar to the "linked mirror" function, except for the fact that I don't want a mirrored copy :-)

You mean, like the 'Duplicate Part as Instance' in the Contextual Menu?
You can also produce linked copies with the Linear and Polar Duplicate tools.

Thanks Bill, that's very close to what I was looking for :-)
This particular function actually seems to be missing in the User Guide??!!
I also noticed that I have to make changes to the original part if I want all instances to be changed.
But, other from that, I'm happy with it!
