I don't use countersunk holes very often, but would like to know what I'm doing wrong.
I need an 82 Degree countersink, and it keeps turning out 98 Degrees.
Shark FX 5, Shark FX 8 SP1 and SP2, and Shark FX 9 Beta 1104 using Win 7, I tried them all with the same results.
Larry
I did find a workaround, subtracted 82 degrees from 98 degrees (16), added half (8) to 41 degrees used 49 degrees to end up with 82 degrees. I don't think
that's the proper way.

The angle entered is in relation to the face the countersink sits upon. This means you have to enter an angle of 49 degrees to get your required 82 degree countersink. So 90 degrees (which represents the hole axis), minus 49 equals 41 degrees (82 degrees included angle). It does make sense, but it's not intuitive. Martin.

Thanks Martin,
I figured it out, but as you said it's not intuitive.
