I think that model to sheet is a great tool, but still have some inconsistencies, like:
1.- Exploded view tool
2.- Avoid garbage and undesirable objects results on flattening view and simplify curves commands (or is jus me)
3.- Place bubble and BOM table inside the viewport
4.- direct atributes editing on boom table
5.- Among others
Poll: How far is model to sheet from this?:

Tim - you need to watch that video Every time I use Model to Sheet, it disappoints It's extremely unsatisfying to use and full of errors It is unlikeable in it's current state SolidWorks solution uses icons - this makes it feel less dry We still draw outlines how we did in MacOS 8 - they look shitty - why can't we go to semi-transparent - like we did with the guides in the Mac version ? Lord only knows why I get so any errors from it - I'd suggest the engine is anything but mature. Today - I flattened parts and half the lines sprung north by a foot ... terrific !

This video is...terrific!! SW is great, but .... cost much more .... It is true that SharkFX is full of errors in interpretation "drawing 2d", sorry Tim, but it's true. There is much work to do manual corrections after the 2d plan. Shark is about for me. "Mac" my current CAD solution. If I had to choose an alternative ... I should switch to Boot Camp and buy SW ... : ( long live Shark, Tim, but please ... put your energy into professional life "pro" of technical sheet into views 2d. :) Antoine

I think with some improve, shark is not far away from that video, also, I think that the future of assembly parts on shark is the referenced files, but still have some things that doesn't work fine (a section view of a referenced file as example), a exploded view and better control of the objects data for BOM info, among that others that i already listed on the first post Luis G.

Argggh! WHY does everything HAVE to be in flash? I won't get to enjoy that vid. Is there a youtube vid? Or that vid tool Antoine uses extensively?

Oh my! I always knew I was missing out on features that SW has, but that video just convinced me how much time I could save with it. Holy moly...thanks, I guess. The model to sheet tool in Shark, (just like it was in Cobalt..) is such a tedious and manual process. It is quite brutal.

Not much improvement on 2D work since Vellum time... Truly, I miss many features we had 15 years ago : - User friendly multi-line text editor - Clean sections profiles, without double lines and splines over lines. - Nice automatic closed profile selector (not only for hatches). - Animation in a view... But the top priority for now should be bug fixing ! - Vanishing views - unwanted regens destroying hours of work - overlaping splines in profiles - gaps creating bad hatching - terrible text and dimension preferences - unfinished interface (to change text on a bunch of dimensions, don't look at text, don't look at dimensions...but at "object properties - Data")... Just a reminder before V8... ;)
