Dunno why, but on my home network, these forums don't recognise me when I revisit. The "remember me" box at the login has instant amnesia. Even if the browser window is open, if I go elsewhere, say look at another browser, then come back, refreshing the page or moving up the thread loses my login. Only these forums, only my home network. It's not going to end my world if it stays that way, but are any knowledgeable folk browsing who might know why?

Hello Murray

Try the following:

1. Clear browser cache

2. Navigate to http://forum.punchcad.com

3. Click Remember Me

4. Enter Login

5. Enter Password

6. Hit Enter

It seems to be important that you perform steps 3 - 6 in exactly this order, if you enter your Login and Password before you check Remember Me your details will be forgotten.

you might also want delete the punch! forum cookie before doing what Nick has proposed.

Nick, Norbert, thanks to you both. I followed both of your instructions and now it remembers me, including after shutdown and reboot. Unless it was muttering the arcane incantation while simultaneously rubbing my belly and scalp? Some parts of computing seem that way to me....
