I would prefer that when a surface is revolved with multiple curves one surface is made. Currently each curve creates a separate surface. Mark

Hi, Mark Don't you get one surface when you group the curves before revolving? Or is that not what you wanted? Regards Jason

Just for the record "one" surface will not be created, at least not where you have a polycurve or group of curves, the result will be a polysurface. I think this is why we need the join command to create polycurves, technically this makes more sense when creating composite surfaces. I get where you are coming from Mark as the extrude surface will build a composite surface by chaining......:cool:
