Change viewport orientation? (#5076)

I have a part modeled in 3D and want to produce a 2D drawing. I use model to sheet and get the third angle views drawn correctly but the layout is not how you would logically view the part on a plan. The views are at 90 deg to how I would have drawn it in 2D. I can rotate each view using the rotate tool but then when later using align, the views don't stay in the same place. Is there a way to reposition the viewports on my custom model to sheet template? Just to clarify, The 4 views on the M to S need rotating together by 90 deg. Edit: I thought I nearly worked it out after posting, but not quite. Going back to my custom M to S layout the 4 viewports can be rotated 90 deg together by selecting them all and the result draws the views in a different position but each part is still in the same orientation.

I have worked it out and answered my own question! When a new project is begun the default view is top. To get the layout I expected this needs to be changed to left side before commencing, or rotated before M to S. For my purpose then I will always begin a new model by changing the view to left side.
