Can I constrain movement of a part?

e.g. Drawers only able to move in one axis?

Thank you.

You can lock a part from being touched so no movement at all.

Your goal to restrain only to one axis I don't think is doable. Just use the gripper to restrain to any axis.

Thanks, but does that mean I cannot create an assembly where a part is constrained to not pivot more than a certain degree?

If you are talking about animation, you can constraint motion in any linear axis or any rotational axis. Even in rotational degrees.

For the sake of moving a part out of the way, you can use the gripper or the move command while in any plane view.

rockyroad that is exactly what I meant - animating while constraining the motion. I should have said animation - thanks!
