Can you subdivide a face or "split" a face in Shark FX? I want to change the color of part of a face for rendering in Keyshot.

Project a curve onto a surface with the option to embed. Once the curve is projected you can then convert surface via type to surfaces. The surface becomes split at the projected curve as long as the curve acts a boundary.

MacPro 11.7.4

Thanks Rockyroad, I'll try this.
It would be nice in the future, to simply deep select a face and split the face with two points.

Don't know why I didn't think of this before. Thanks John!
