Just wondering if anyone has a 4K screen? (3840x2160)
Is there any scaling issues with ViaCAD?

Considering a new laptop with a 4K screen :D

Hi Mogal,

I don't have a 4K screen but I have HUGE problems using Shark with external monitors on my new 15" retina Macbook :

- The palettes are moving to a random position at every start-up, from one screen to the other.

- The tool palette sometimes disappear, before crashing...

- Sometimes it crashes repeatedly at launch : the only workaround is to launch Shark on the laptop alone and plug the monitor afterward.

- If I unplug the thunderbolt monitor adaptor Shark Crashes (moving the laptop is enough sometimes). I have to remember to save and quit before doing it.

- When I'm back on the laptop screen alone it keeps memory of the large monitor resolution : the window size is too big, the palettes are missing or in wrong position, and the collapse is sometimes "broken"..

This happens with Shark and with none of my other softwares, on 24" recent monitors, Samsung and LG

Thank you, good to know.
For the most part, I don't think I will use an external monitor (with the laptop)
I have dual screen on my home computer, and do not have any issues (but then I never unplug them)

Good to know. I was considering plugging in my 7" usb monitor for additional real estate for the palettes and windows.

I'm sure my crash problems are due to the thunderbolt/vga adaptor on the Retina Mac-pro.
I never get crashes on my dual monitor MacPro. (only moving palettes...).

Another bad point with any dual monitors on Mavericks : some shortcuts like "cmd-v" (paste) do not work on the main window just after clicking on a palette in the other monitor (like changing layer on the explorer...).
Clicking in the window is not an option as it changes the pasting position.
I have to use the edit menu...

I don't know about USB monitors...
