Does anyone have a tutorial, or maybe a few screenshots of "replace profile"? I am interested in seeing your work flow. do you use layers to separate the profiles, or do you offset the profile in the x or y direction? How complex a solid can you make before "replace profile" doesn't work any more? thanks, Mike...

I wish it were possible to replace curves of a surface, not just a solid. Depending on how many curves and how many control points of curves needed adjusting, I would sometimes just destroy the surface, edit the curves, and rebuilt the surface. Now, if it is a single curve and only 2 or 3 of the 7 or 8 control points, I just edit a parent file, then copy the modified curve to my model having an overall good surface. Then, I translated the points of the wonky curve to match the newly-imported parent curve. In this scenario, it saves time, keeps me less distracted, and is an ok workaround. But, it would be nice if when a curve is imported, it can be 'added to" a surface and be told "insert sequence" is from left to right, or right to left, or "inclusion directtion as before, but location is between these two curves". But, I guess because solid models take more time to adjust, and curve substitution is an act of mercy? Some of my surfaces are as time-consuming as some solids. I need an act of mercy, hehehe..
