I'm finding it increasingly frustrating that I'm having to re-write all my gripes for the new forum.

I looked up the details of this forum mechanics on the web .. and I don't understand why we can't import all the old data ? Your users have invested incredible amounts of time documenting their thoughts

Perhaps it's better for you guys to see less gripes, but in the bigger picture, these do still need to be addressed !

Punch has hired personal dedicated for CAD technical support. This position is responsible for receiving, validating, and submitting bugs to our bug tracking system. The developers now work off of prioritized items in this tracking system.

The advantage of submitting bugs to [email protected] is that they are documented in our system. Submitting bugs to the forum is great to give everyone a heads up that a bug exists, plus possible workarounds, but as you noted, it does not get documented into our system.

When submitting bugs to tech support, I would recommend you have one bug per email, steps to repeat, platform, and version. Zipped example files are always well received.

Ok .. I didn't realise you were doing that !
Hopefully it's not just another black hole to send bug reports into
Perhaps it's worthy of an announcement ?

From now on I will post my gripes here AND email [email protected]

Perhaps in the meantime, your new employee could go through the forum and log the bugs listed thus far

There's not that much info here so far .. it shouldn't take him long to copy & paste them .. and it is in the company's interests

Tim:

Since the AeroPack add-on is not a Punch product, where do we report bugs in it now that the CSi forum is no longer in use?
