Years ago in the pre-Punch! era there was an 8.5 X 11 sheet folded vertically that listed all the major items in the CU window, and all the major keyboard shortcuts. I have done a search on both this forum, and the old forum and can not find it. Does anybody have a copy that they could post here ? Thanks in advance, Nick

Nick, you do know that you can print a list of the shortcuts off from choosing "short cuts" in the file menu (Mac)?

Tom,
Yes there is an option to print out, but as I put
forward here , it is minimal as to what info is given. (which you agreed with :))

Did I? Oops :o:o To be honest, I have so much to do at the moment. My wife works full time, and I look after the kids. When they are at school, I'm running a photography, graphic design, CAD and 3D design business- I'm rushed off my feet!!

No worries, I have been meaning to make a list. Going into the "short cut key" manager it does not show what is assigned, but if you attempt to assign a key to an already assign key, you do then get a warning that it is assigned and to what. edit. I forgot. Some keys are hardcoded (such as "C"), and some dont show as assigned,... hmmm. - Steve.

Tom, Thanks, but the old card was really nicely laid out, and had more info than just the shortcuts. The shortcut printout with that button gives a list of all commands, plus assigned shortcuts, not very useful when you are trying to find out what the default (factory) shortcuts are, as pressing that revert key blows away everything you have setup. What I have done instead is copy my preferences / CSi / shortcuts.ini file, revert and then compare the two shortcut.ini files to see what the defaults were. Unfortunately things like the C key for toggling planes is not documented in the shortcut.ini file.

Yes, it would be nice if a patch would cause the assigned shortcuts to appear next to their analog in the drop-down menus... I have them written on paper, but it's time consuming to look some of them up when by semi-photographic memory i can recall them by eye-hand movement along the menus... If anything, seeing them repeatedly on the menu might help me remember them so i can actually use them when i need them rather than looking at the tool palettes - especially when my palettes' positions become hosed up when i change my screen resolution (it changes when i have VirtualBox minimised to quasi alt-task out to Linux...
