I am not able to export to Catia v5. I'm not sure if it is this particular collection of solids, or something I am doing wrong. The goal is to try to find what format works the best for going directly from Shark v7 to solidworks. So far .igs is terrible, and .stp is better, but not great. I was just going down the export list, and trying all that made sense (to me anyway) and when I got to Catia v5, I got an error message 'export failed'. I am selecting the solids I want to export, then checking the 'selected only' box. Any thoughts ? Ryan

Shark to Solidworks - best format is usually SAT (ACIS) 12 I'm not sure but I think the most recent SW supports later than SAT 12 - Tim may know

Every so often, sat 12 lets me down - then I just resort to stp or igs Most often it's great Be interesting to know if a more recent version of SolidWorks supports SAT newer than SAT 12 I'm guessing yes as Dessault makes both ACIS and SolidWorks
