I know this is a very basic question, but when I draw a cylinder in wireframe it only shows up with circle at the top and bottom and no connecting lines. How do I get those connecting lines to show up. MAC Shark FX V7 beta 962

Hi,
I looked at your sample. When I try to draw that same cylinder all I get are the two circles. The cylinder is there if I Fill it, but in wireframe, there are just the two circles without the two connecting vertical lines.

Hi,
I have done that with preferences, but it doesn't change the display.

Have you tried Menu > View > Shade Options... and tick Update Silhouettes?

Hi Everybody,
The Menu/View/Shade Options/update Silhouettes fixed it. Thank you all for your help.
