Hi!

I have bought ViaCAD v8 (non pro) and I'm thinking of buying v8 pro.
When will I be able to do so on the app store?
And is it possible to pay some upgrade price?

What are difference where you buy?

In Poland almost none people use app store....

We have a work in progress build now you are invited to look at. We are 2 months away from an app store release.

Good question!
I was not sure of its use myself before.

1) It is easy to buy and get the product installed this way, just enter your apple id password and it is bought!
2) It is easy to keep track of when updates are available and they are easy to upgrade
3) You can download and install it on I think 3 machines, so that you can easily work on your laptop sometimes or at other times on your workstation machine.
4) When you buy a new computer it is easy to migrate and download + install all your previously purchased software.

5) For developers it generates a lot more visibility for their application. I know of several companies that could lower their prices even more and still make more money
(example case the program Pixelmator:

Is this 2 months away from ViaCAD v8 Pro ? Or for the next version v9?
I'm guessing v9 as your are mentioning the progress build?

Too bad the app store has no upgrade price.
However they seem to have some sort of coupons, so maybe it could be solved this way?

Maybe in few years in Poland will be more MAC users but right now cost to much.
