Hello, 2d/3d V6 (build)787 (PC) When using control point splines, I can use "Modify slope"~ "Reference" for a slope which then usually goes the wrong way, but when using control point splines the "Reverse" will not reverse the curve direction made by the Reference. - Steve

I thought changing the "object type" of spline may help, but instead the program simply crashed.

I really don't know how many times through the years I've stated that 'reference' slopes go the wrong way by default Thanks for bringing up again Perhaps if other people can verify this issue - we can finally get this changed !!

Hi Tim,

I was not expecting(or looking for) a crash, so did not keep notes of steps etc as I was just drawing many different types of spline to check the "Modify slope" tool.
I cannot repeat the crash at this time, but will keep better track in case it happens again.

Thank you,
By the way, the problem appears in shark FX(pc) demo

so will 'reference' ing a spline into a surface or solid now no longer require reversing every time ?

Not yet, this just adds the ability to reverse the start/end slope of a control point spline. The extra flipping is based on which side of the surface you reference which I have not addressed yet.

This is still not working on the control point splines (788).

Hello, I did find that is was own fault on this one. I was expecting to select the control point spline near the end to change its direction, when in fact I need to select the actual control point. I e-mailed Tim with the explanation of my error. - Steve
