I have created a simple example. (VC pro 835)

Pic01(01.vcp) shows a CP spline constructed around 4 ref lines. Starting position at 0 (3 o,clock)

[ NOTE: This construction I would deem as incorrect as the spline is not actually treated as closed. If it was, then the curvature of the spline would be consistent around its perimeter (at 0/90/180/270 deg should be the same CP weight), but it is not (pic01b) Both the start and endpoint CPs of the spline are giving weight]

Pic02: Here I have made a single segment at 90 (12 o,clock), the original tangency at the start/end of the CP spline is now lost see pic03
