I am modeling a bevel gears tooth. When I use the two rail sweep the tooth profile is skewed. The splines that make the tooth profile are absolutely symetrical, since I used the spine import function to create them. The line used as the rails start and end on y=0.
Any idea why the final part is skewed?

Hi, Not sure why. It sweeps ok here. Also, on opening the model, if I force resolve links for the sweep in the concept explorer, that makes the sweep as would be expected. What version( and build) of VC are you using (and on what OS)?

I am using VaiCAD Pro v 6.0.0 build 852 running under XP.

There is the VC pro 6 patch (build 856). That may resolve the issue. There have been a number of changes in the sweeps, but not sure what was covered in that patch. - Steve
