being a big fan of musical instruments, both acoustic and electronic, I'd like to show you the works of another one of my current faves,
Teenage Engineering .
Just look at that record player (although I don't think styrofoam is quite the right material to use!). And
that synthesiser?! :eek: Remember the Casio VL-1? The calculator keyboard for kids? Yummy! :cool:

I think there are some advantages to that foam, if it isn't left in the sunshine. Nice and light, so it doesn't need a large counterbalance, and the foam will be self-damping. It's likely that undamped stray resonances could be more easily tuned to convenient frequencies. Clever. Do they mean they're designed by teenagers or built for them?
