Was trying to purchase a VC product using Paypal in check-out. I would get through all the steps, and click to finish the order -- and then it would tell me to put in an email address. Well, there already was a valid email address. All other fields were also valid. There was no other error message. I repeated this process several times before giving up.

In this day and age where even the government(s) are getting hacked, I would prefer to use PP than my CC. Since its late, I'm postponing my purchase decisions.

I had the exact same problem (and even after I switched over to credit card from Paypal), sent an email to Punchcad but didn't hear back. I ended up buying ViaCAD 2D/3D from the Mac App Store at full price, without the discount they were offering at the time if you bought it on the website. I wonder how many sales have been lost because of this? It's a real bummer.

I had the same situation.

But I didn't give up.
Tried several times, and then finaly with MC payment it suceded (PP fails always).

Trying one last time, 3 days later. Apparently PC registered me even though I really just wanted to place an order. I don't like having my personal information setting around in databases. Now when using PP, it says

Please select a valid payment method to continue checkout

Hmm. If Paypal is not a valid payment method, why is it offered? If there's some other problem, why isn't it explained?
