When saving to FACT format it would be beneficial to be able to "export by layer" (checkbox). This would save all objects on each visible layer as a single "group" in the FACT file. (each layer becomes a "group" )

The advantage of this is simple.

You can change the geometry or number of objects on any layer and re-export the FACT file with the same visible layers, and the changes will be immediately reflected in the EI project.
